Job Description

Due to the continued success of the business, this established asbestos company is actively looking to recruit an enthusiastic Asbestos Contracts Manager in the Dorset area. The candidate would be undertaking daily duties such as overseeing work that is being carried out, assessing potential contracts, and estimating, having involvement in H&S Training. Applications from Bournemouth, Blandford, Bristol, bath, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Ideally, the applicant must come from a good educational, technical, removals, supervisory, contracts and management background.
Previous experience in same or similar role within the asbestos industry.
Must be fully conversant with the asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Will be well versed with the asbestos industry.
Knowledge of the asbestos removals industry essential.

Role:

Overseeing work carried out by asbestos removal teams and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures.
Completing risk assessments, method statements, writing tenders, PPQs, specifications, appraisals and ASB5 notifications.
Meeting Key Performance Indicators.
Assessing potential contracts and estimating.
Managing and organising teams/staff to complete contracts effectively.
Making recommendations for improving client service and delivery.
Collating and producing monthly management reports using company procedures and guidelines.
Getting involved with Health & Safety including training
Dealing with incoming sales enquiries.
Liaising with the company’s new and existing clients.
Generating new business leads.
