Job Description

Our client is an growing UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, who provides the full range of asbestos services to a mixed portfolio of clients. Due to recent expansion, they are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and qualified Asbestos Lab Analyst based in or around the Doncaster area. Applications from Gainsborough, Goole, Brigg, Finningley and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must hold the P401 asbestos qualification.
Have hands on experience working in a laboratory/office environment within the asbestos field.
Excellent communication skills.
Competent with Microsoft office package.
Good attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Appropriately logging samples received into the laboratory.
Preparing samples for analysis.
Carrying out analysis of asbestos bulk samples for fibre content.
Reporting analytical findings.
Calibration of equipment.
Typing certificates of analysis for clients/customers.
Any other laboratory duties as required.
