Job Description

Due to an increase in workload, our client, an expanding asbestos laboratory based company, are looking for an astute Asbestos Lab Analyst to work in the West Midlands area. Candidates from Northampton, Coventry, Warwick and Birmingham would be taken into consideration.

Minimum requirements and responsibilities for this role;

– Must possess the P401 asbestos certificate
– Must have good experience working in a laboratory environment within the asbestos field.
– Must be flexible and have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Have the ability to organise workload effectively and to work independently.
– Booking in and preparing the samples received for analysis.
– Carry out analysis of bulk samples to determine the asbestos content.
– Producing certificates of analysis.
– Getting involved with other laboratory duties – quality control, etc.
