Here is an opportunity for a high calibre and focused Asbestos Lab Analyst to join a highly reputable UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy in West Midlands and will include applications from Birmingham, Coventry, Walsall, Stafford and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must have attained the P401 asbestos certificate and at the same time and must have a proven experience working within this role in a laboratory environment and within the asbestos field.

Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Purpose of the Role:

To analyse and report on the fibre content of both of samples submitted by clients/customers.

Key Role:

Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory.

Preparing samples for analysis.

Carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content.

Reporting analytical findings.

Completing analysis test sheets accurately as and when required.

Getting involved with other laboratory duties as and when required.

Ensuring the equipment is kept clean and maintained.

In general, the successful applicant will be tenacious, flexible, will have a high level of attention to detail, have good Microsoft Package skills, have the ability to organize workload effectively and work independently and as part of a team.
