Job Description

A competent and focused Asbestos Lab Analyst is being sought by one of our well established consultancy in the South East and will include applications from Kingston Upon Thames, London, Hertfordshire, Surrey and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The post-holder must hold the P401 qualification and at the same time must have experience working within this role, in a laboratory environment and within the asbestos sector.

Key Duties:

Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory.

Preparing samples for analysis and carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content.

Completing analysis test sheets as and when required and ensuring every effort to complete workload within required time scale.

Carrying out any other ad hoc duties as and when required.

Requirements/Attributes:

Ideally, the applicant will have good communication skills, both written and verbal and attention to detail.

Will be proficient in using the computer – Microsoft Office Package.

Have the ability to work well and independently.
