Job Description

This well-established and highly successful asbestos company is urgently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their busy team/office based in the Scotland region. Undertaking daily works such as, correctly logging samples once received into the lab, preparing samples for analysis, and completing analysis test sheets. Consideration will be given to applications from Paisley, Hamilton, East Kilbride, and the surrounding areas. This position could be full or part-time.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must hold the P401 asbestos qualification.
Previous experience of working in a laboratory environment within the asbestos industry.
Excellent communication skills.
Good attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Responsibilities:

Receiving and appropriately logging samples received into the laboratory.
Preparation of samples for analysis.
Carrying out analysis of samples for content and reporting analytical findings.
Completing analysis test sheets.
Assisting with any other laboratory duties as required.
