Job Description

Job Title: Asbestos Office Manager.
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
Salary: £22k – £30k + Benefits.

We have a position within an established Essex based Asbestos Consultancy, who are looking to employ an enthusiastic and driven Asbestos Office Manager. This role would suit a candidate looking for a fast-paced environment and who is able to work well under pressure with excellent management and people skills. You will oversee an office of administrators, ensuring smooth running of the day-to-day office processes, producing invoices / purchase orders, and providing continuous support to management within the company.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Rochford, Hockley, Rayleigh, South Benfleet, Canvey Island, Basildon, Wickford, Stanford-le-Hope, Billericay, Brentwood, Tilbury, Grays.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will come from a management / administration role, ideally within the Asbestos industry.
” Will have excellent customer facing skills, professional and polite.
” Able to work well under pressure.
” Holding the BOHS P402 for technical report reviewing would be beneficial.
” Must be flexible and adaptable in line with work needs.
” Ability to work well within a team and individually.
” Excellent IT skills.
The Role:
” Overseeing the production of reports, ensuring they are technically accurate prior to sending to clients.
” Managing and overseeing a team of administrators.
” Coordinating and scheduling asbestos projects upon confirmation of works to be carried out.
” Aiding clients / colleagues with general enquiries.
” Entering new jobs onto internal systems.
” Using industry relevant systems to book samples into the laboratory.
” Assisting managers, booking in appointments.
” Generating quotes for clients.
” Producing invoices and raising purchase orders upon completion of work.
” Ensuring to organise workload efficiently.
” Ensuring a smooth day to day running of the office, making sure all administrative tasks are completed.
