Job Title: Asbestos Operations Administrator / Coordinator
Location: Newcastle, Tyne and Wear
Salary / Benefits £22k – £26k + Benefits

Independent Asbestos Consultancy, with a team of longstanding office and site staff, are recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Administrator / Coordinator. The role would suit applicants who come from a strong asbestos background and are able to demonstrate experience coordinating projects, booking in works, and producing reports to send to clients. Candidates will be initially working from the clients North East office but once confident within the role can move to hybrid working. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding business with a family feel, who invest long term in their staff.

” Demonstratable experience working within an asbestos consultancy.
” BOHS P402 for report checking (beneficial not essential).
” Highly organised with a good attention to detail.
” Experience scheduling site staff on a national scale.
” Able to work to SLAs.
” Friendly and personable personality and able to work well within a team.

Successful candidates will be undertaking a range of administrative / coordinator takes, including but not limited to;
” Coordinating longstanding projects across the North East.
” Acting as first point of contact for customers and dealing with any incoming queries.
” Logging all incoming jobs onto the company’s internal systems.
” Assigning asbestos staff to various surveying / analytical projects.
” Providing day-to-day support to management / site staff.
” Typing reports and quality check, prior to sending out to clients.
” Undertaking effective control of company documents.
” Carrying out general administrative duties e.g., filing and scanning documents, sending emails, answering / making phone calls.
