Our client is currently enjoying much success and due to this they are hoping to recruit an experienced Asbestos Operations Manager based in the Yorkshire region. Applications from West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, North West, Manchester and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally, the individual must come from a strong technical, management, operational, asbestos, construction, removals, commercial, office surveying, sales and educational background.
Will have an in-depth knowledge of asbestos management and legislation.
Experience working in this role within the asbestos industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Package.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing and supporting the asbestos team/staff.
Managing and delegating work as necessary.
Getting involved with Quality Control, Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legislation and company requirements.
Getting involved with the operational and management side of the business.
Training of staff and appraisals.
Auditing and Inspection of work carried out.
Controlling the financial side of the business.
Enable the smooth running of the business.
Attending meetings when required and dealing with any issues that may arise.
Build and maintain a professional relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
Ensuring that all contracts are completed within specified timescale.
