A leading and dynamic asbestos consultancy that operates right across the country and at the same time offers professional services to high profile clients is presently seeking for an astute and commercially focused Asbestos Operations Manager in Central Scotland and would include applications from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Falkirk.

Qualifications and Experience:

The applicant must hold the S301/CCP qualifications and must come from a strong educational, technical, and management background.

Must have proven track record working within this role (significant experience), operations management experience and within the asbestos industry.

Will be IT proficient.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the running of the business including site staff and clients.

Overseeing staff and ensuring contract operations are coordinated with clients and are carried out effectively in accordance with site operations and company procedures.

Ensuring that all asbestos consultancy work is carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety procedures.

Producing method statements, risk assessment and associated site paperwork.

Assisting with tenders and quotations.

Getting involved with audits, improving quality and achieving satisfaction from clients/customers and staff.

Ensuring that projects are completed within time frame.

Managing existing and new portfolio of contracts effectively.

Generating new business leads.

Overall the successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and have the ability to manage the business and the client base and at the same time drive the business to the next level.

Will have strong people/client/project management, communication, presentational and organizational skills and at the same time have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Will be innovative and have the ability to solve problems effectively.
