Job Description

Due to current business requirement this leading and fast growing UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy that enjoys servicing clients from all levels and at the same time with a nationwide presence is actively seeking for a commercially focused, enthusiastic and self-driven Asbestos Operations Manager to work for them in London and will include applications from London, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Hampshire, Kent and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally, the post-holder must hold the P402/P403/P404 qualifications or or the equivalent – RSPH qualification.

Must come from a strong educational, technical, consultancy, sales, operational, office and project management background.

Must be well versed with the asbestos industry and Health & Safety procedures.

Must have good communication, client facing, people management, leadership organizational and presentational skills.

Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must have a proven track record working within this role and within the asbestos industry – significant experience.

Key Role:

Managing and running the office effectively – staff

Getting involved with recruitment, training and developing staff and ensuing that the procedures are followed with regards to appraisals, etc.

Attending meetings regularly and reporting any issues.

Holding meetings with staff and keeping them informed of any company issues or matters.

Supporting other offices – regionally and nationally with regards staff allocation and resourcing.

Monitoring targets and achieving continuous profit goals.

Winning new contracts – cross selling the company’s other services to clients/customers, whilst still managing existing accounts.

Collating information for the accounts/finance team and dealing with any queries.

Assisting sales team.

Providing quotes and tenders.

Getting involved Key Performance Indicators.

Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients/customers.

Liaising with Quality Management and ensuring all that all work carried out is of high quality and performance.

Ensuring that their Management Systems run smoothly, which would include Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Operations

Resourcing, assisting and managing contracts effectively.

Ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are followed.

Training.
