Job Description

Job Title: Asbestos Project Co-Ordinator / Scheduler.
Location: Newport, South Wales.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £28k + Training + Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for an Asbestos Project Co-Ordinator / Scheduler to join a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy. You will be joining their friendly and busy office in South Wales and will be efficiently co-ordinating new and existing projects, alongside scheduling staff to Commercial, Industrial and Educational sites and arranging accommodation where required. This role would suit someone who is flexible and adaptable to company needs and is able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Cardiff, Caerphilly, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Pontypridd, Blackwood, Aberdare, Merthyr Tydfil, Chepstow, Bristol, Bath, Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Weston-Super-Mare.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have a strong administrate background, working within a UKAS accredited Asbestos company.
” Will have excellent IT skills.
” Able to manage time efficiently, prioritising work in line with company / client needs.
” Will have a keen eye for detail.
” Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
” Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
” Ensuring that internal systems are accurate and up to date, logging all jobs onto the system promptly.
” Efficiently scheduling work to be carried out across Commercial, Industrial and Educational sites.
” Co-ordinating projects efficiently, ensuring work is going to be completed in line with agreed time frames.
” Arranging accommodation for staff when required.
” Liaising with site staff, gathering information to finalise reports, ensuring to proof read prior to forwarding to clients.
” Efficiently managing frameworks and forecasting work completion.
” Liaising with clients, and colleagues confirming work that is going to be carried out.
” Acting as first point of call for clients, providing support and advice where requires.
” Providing management with end of month reports.
” Undertaking general administrative duties E.G., making / answering phone calls, ending emails, filing documents.
