Job Title: Asbestos Project Coordinator
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £27k + Training + Benefits

We are currently recruiting for a leading name within the Asbestos industry who are now looking to employ an Asbestos Project Coordinator. This role would suit a candidate who is adaptable and able to work well in a fast-paced environment, looking for a new challenge. The client works with well known Retail, Government and Commercial names and you will work closely with site based Project Managers to ensure the smooth running of high value projects; acting as first point of call for the client, scheduling in works for a team of site staff, receiving and sending reports and working to agreed SLA’s. Long term the client can offer funded P405 training and regular pay reviews, as well as development into office based Project Management.

Consideration will be given to candidate from: Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop, Chesterfield, Retford, Wakefield, Pontefract, Huddersfield, Batley, Halifax, Castleford, Matlock, Mansfield, Leeds, Derby, Burton upon Trent, Long Eaton, Beeston .

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will come from a strong Administrative / Project Co-ordination role.
” Experience working within or an Asbestos company would be beneficial.
” Excellent customer service and communication skills.
” Must be well organised and adaptable in line with company needs.
” Will have a keen eye for detail.
” Experience in using MS Office, TEAMS or TRACKER.

The Role:
” Taking ownership of key long term, high value Commercial projects across the UK.
” Acting as first port of call for the client, and managing all Surveying and Abatement works from start to finish.
” Working closely with site based Project Managers, offering reactive support and building strong working relationships.
” Using TEAMS to schedule pre-planned and emergency work for a large team of Surveyors, Analysts and Consultants.
” Liaising with LARC’s.
” Managing frameworks and forecasting work completion.
” Typing up and proof reading of reports prior to sending to clients.
” Creating site drawings using industry relevant systems.
” Logging all incoming job enquiries onto internal databases.
” Preparing end of month reports for managers.
