Job Description

Job Title: Asbestos Project Co-ordinator.
Location: Glasgow, Scotland.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £26k + Training + Benefits

An independent and industry recognised Asbestos Consultancy based in Scotland, are now seeking to recruit an Asbestos Project Co-ordinator to join their friendly and driven team. This role would suit a candidate who holds extensive experience in scheduling in work for asbestos staff, able to create site drawings, liaising with asbestos staff to ensure accuracy of information for report prior to quality checking and sending to clients. This role would suit a candidate who is enthusiastic, organised, driven and adaptable, holding the BOHS P402 qualification would be beneficial to this role.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Paisley, Hamilton, Coatbridge, East Kilbride, Cumbernauld, Penicuik, Falkirk, Cumbernauld, Stirling.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding the BOHS P402 qualification would be beneficial to the role but not essential.
” Strong background working within an Asbestos Company, working in an administration / project co-ordination role.
” Will have excellent communication skills via phone, email, face to face.
” Excellent organisational skills, working in line with company needs.
” Able to work well under pressure.

The Role:
” Scheduling work for asbestos staff to be carried out on a varied site base.
” Providing support to clients, acting as first point of call.
” Liaising with asbestos staff to confirm accuracy of information prior to typing up and quality checking reports.
” Providing support day to day support to management.
” Managing frameworks and forecasting work completion.
” Logging jobs that come though onto the internal system.
” Ensuring all internal systems are accurate and up to date.
” Carrying out effective document control.
” Ensuring smooth day to day running of the office.
” Creating site drawings using relevant systems.
” Preparing end of month reports for management.
” Carrying out general administrative duties e.g., answering the phone, making calls, sending emails, scanning, and filing documents.
