Job Title: Asbestos Quality Manager
Location: Basildon, Essex.
Salary / Benefits: £30k – £45k + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Expanding Essex based company is currently recruiting for an experience and technically minded Asbestos Quality Manager. Experience gaining and maintaining UKAS accreditation is essential for the role and candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of ISO and UKAS guidelines. Consideration will be given to those in areas such as; Rainham, Romford, Grays, Rayleigh, Rochford, Wickford, Maldon, Brentwood, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea, Braintree, Colchester, Cheshunt, Harlow, St Albans, Hertford, Watford, Stevenage, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Gravesend, Dartford, Chatham, Gillingham, Maidstone, Croydon, Chatham.

Experience / Qualifications:
– BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (or equivalent qualification) as a minimum.
– Ideally will hold the CPP or CoCA qualification.
– In-depth technical knowledge and experience implementing ISO guidelines.
– Proven track record of obtaining and maintaining UKAS accreditation.

The Role:
– Maintain the company’s internal quality and technical procedures.
– Overseeing and managing quality and technical operations, ensuring they run efficiently in line with agreed time frames.
– Carrying out site audits, inspections and quality control to ensure works are being carried out in compliance with UKAS guidelines.
– Providing staff with training plans in line with company needs.
– Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy and technical advice.
– Undertaking quality checks of surveying and analytical reports prior to being submitted to clients.
– Carrying out quality control on internal and external systems.
– Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce accurate reports.
– Managing any non-conforming work and following up development of corrective and preventative action.
