Job Description

Due to a rapidly expanding work load our client, a well-established asbestos consultancy with a nationwide presence is currently looking to employ an experienced and motivated Asbestos Quality/Technical Manager in and around the London area. Undertaking daily tasks such as organising staff training, attending at operational/technical and management meetings, and carrying out audits. Applications from, Ashford, Maidstone, Basildon, Dartford and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

The successful candidate must hold CoCA such as S301/W504.
Extensive experience working in this role in a UKAS accredited company.
Will have a solid asbestos, technical, quality and management background.
A good working knowledge of ISO 9001, 17020 & 17025 systems.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Role:

Running the UKAS laboratory ensuring company, health & safety and industry regulations are adhered to.
Organisation of staff training requirements.
Attendance at operational/technical/management meetings.
Ensuring that the company maintains a high level of technical and quality competence in all aspects recognised by external UKAS accreditation.
Carrying out audits, inspections and quality control.
Liaising with UKAS as and when required.
Complying with UKAS documentation and procedures and implementing any changes/updates required.
Build and maintain a professional working relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
Planning of all works to be carried out.
Providing quotations for clients.
