Job Title: Asbestos Quality / Technical Manager.
Location: Reading, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k + Benefits

Our client is a renowned UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy. They are now looking to employ an Asbestos Quality / Technical Manager to join their continuously growing team. You will be providing excellent quality, technical, and consultancy services to Commercial and Industrial clients. Liaising with clients, carrying out audits, inspections, and quality control onsite and ensuring work carried out complies with UKAS guidelines. You will also be responsible for ensuring internal quality and technical procedures are being followed and are up to date in line with current legislation. This role would suit a candidate looking for a home-based role and attending the office in line with company requirements.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Windsor, Slough, Bracknell, High Wycombe, Guildford, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Luton, St Albans, Cheshunt, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Hertford, Bishop’s Stortford.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding the P402, P403, P404 / CCP / CoCiA qualification is essential to the role.
” Will have a background in the asbestos industry, working within a quality / technical / management background.
” Experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
” Well versed in relevant Health & Safety / UKAS guidelines.
” Will have excellent IT skills, able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
” Excellent organisational skills.
” Able to communicate efficiently.

The Role:
” Ensuring internal quality and technical procedures are being followed and kept up to date with relevant legislation.
” Overseeing and managing quality and technical operations, ensuring they run efficiently in line with agreed time frames.
” Attending site to carry out audits, inspection, and quality control, ensuring compliance with UKAS accreditation.
” Ensuring work is being carried out in line with relevant Health & Safety / UKAS guidelines.
” Providing staff with training plans in line with company needs.
” Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy and technical advice.
” Undertaking quality checks of surveying and analytical reports prior to being submitted to clients.
” Carrying out quality control on internal and external systems.
” Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce accurate reports.
” Managing any non-conforming work and following up development of corrective and preventative action.
