Due to acquiring and winning new prestigious contracts, this renowned and client based asbestos company that provides a broad range of asbestos and environmental services to a mixed portfolio of clients is currently seeking the services of focused, competent and committed Asbestos Site Analyst in Abertawe and will consider applications from Port Talbot, Llanelli, Neath, Swansea and the surrounding areas.

Purpose of the Role:

Covering a mixed bag of contracts within the areas designated by the client.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally the applicant must have attained the P403/P404 or the equivalent – RSPH qualification and must also have significant relevant experience and within the asbestos industry.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and must be IT literate.

Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.

Key Tasks:

Carrying out smoke, background, leak, reassurance, re-occupation, 4 stage clearances, visual and personal air testing on commercial and industrial properties.

Overseeing asbestos contractors carrying out asbestos removal work and ensuring that they adhere to the Health and Safety legislation appertaining to asbestos.

Collating and producing comprehensive asbestos reports as and when required.

Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients.

In general, the successful applicant will be an all-rounder, flexible, adaptable, have a good and positive attitude and at the same time have the aptitude to carry out the work effectively and within time scale.

Will be flexible with regards to travelling.
