Job Description

Due to acquiring new and prestigious contracts, this well established asbestos consultancy with a good client base is actively seeking the services of a smart, good calibre and multi-skilled Asbestos Site Analyst based in Central Belt of Scotland and will include applications in Edinburgh, Falkirk, Stirlingshire and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

The applicant must have attained the P403/P404 certificate or the equivalent – RSPH certificate and at the same time must have significant and varied experience working within this role and within the asbestos industry.

Must be well versed with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.

Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Role:

Carrying out smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances, re-occupation and personal air testing.

Overseeing asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they carry out the work in accordance with the Asbestos Health and Safety legislation.

Collating and producing accurate reports as and when required.

Building and maintaining a good rapport with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.

In general, the successful candidate will be an all-rounder, flexible, have a good and positive attitude and at the same time must have the ability to carry out the work effectively and within time scale.

Must be flexible with regards to travelling.
