Our client is a well-established and fast-growing client based asbestos and environmental consultancy providing a vast range of asbestos services to a mixed portfolio of clients across the country. Due to acquiring new contracts and current business requirement, they are currently in the process of employing a high calibre home-based Asbestos Site Analyst based in and around the Plymouth area. They will consider applications from Ivybridge, Tavistock, Looe and the surrounding areas.

Purpose of the Role:

Covering a mixed bag of contracts within the areas designated by the client.

Qualifications & Experience

The applicant must have attained the P403/P404 certificate or the equivalent RSPH certificate and at the same time must have significant and varied experience working within this role and within the asbestos industry.

Must be well versed with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must have good client facing and organisational skills.

Key Role:

Carrying out smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances, re-occupation and personal air testing on various properties.

Monitoring asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they carry out the work in accordance with the Asbestos Health and Safety legislation.

Collating and producing accurate reports as and when required.

Liaising with the company’s mixed portfolio clients on a regular basis – building and maintaining a good working rapport.

In general, the successful candidate will be an all-rounder, flexible, committed, reliable, focused and have the ability to work independently and effectively and at the same time must be flexible with regards to travelling to sites.
