Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor.
Location: Edinburgh, Central Scotland
Salary / Benefits £22K – £35K + Training + Benefits

Our client, who is a leading multi-discipline Environmental Consultancy are now looking to recruit a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor. They are looking for a candidate with experience carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on a varied site base, including Healthcare, Educational, Industrial, and Commercial sites. Our client can offer excellent training into further Pcert models, alongside an excellent company pension scheme, salary, and holiday allowance.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Penicuik, Hamilton, East Kilbride, Glasgow, Kilmarnock, Paisley, Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Kincardine, Stirling, Dunfermline, Kirkaldy.

Experience & Qualifications:
” At a minimum will hold the BOHS P402 qualification or RSPH equivalent.
” Previous / current experience working within the asbestos industry for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Company would be beneficial to the role.
” Able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
” Excellent organisational skills.
” Able to communicate efficiently.

The Role:
” Working on a varied site base, carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
” Sampling ACMs on site, ensuring to bag and label correctly prior to sending for analysts.
” Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
” Using industry relevant systems to gather information from site and produce detailed reports.
” Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice.
” Ensuring work complies with relevant Health & Safety Legislations.
