Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor

Profile:
Our client is a rapidly expanding Asbestos Consultancy who work across Healthcare, Government, Educational and Manufacturing sites. They are now recruiting for a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor to cover contracts across the South Midlands / South West area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys alongside having excellent knowledge of ACM’s and the ability to locate them.

Experience & Qualifications:
” At a minimum will hold the BOHS P402 qualification.
” Current / previous experience working within the Asbestos industry, ideally working as a surveyor.
” Able to demonstrate excellent understanding of relevant HSG Guidelines.
” Competent in using handheld PDA and industry relevant software.
The Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites carrying out Management, Demolition and Refurbishment asbestos surveys.
” Undertaking sampling of suspected asbestos containing materials and ensuring all samples are bagged and labelled accurately.
” Collecting information from site to produce detailed and in-depth reports for clients using handheld PDA.
” Ensuring all work is carried out in line with HSG 264 Guidelines.
” Ensuring that excellent rapport with clients is being upheld.
