Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Glasgow, Central Scotland
Salary / Benefits £22K – £34K +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Tranee Asbestos Surveyor through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor

Profile: Future Select specialise in recruitment within the Asbestos Industry, we currently have a reputable and UKAS accredited client of ours who are seeking to employ a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor based in and around the Glasgow area. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working within the Asbestos industry, carrying out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys across Social Housing, Educational, Healthcare, and Industrial sites in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.

Applications will be considered from: East Kilbride, Hamilton Paisley, Coatbridge Falkirk, Cumbernauld, Stirling, Edinburgh Dunfermline.

Experience & Qualifications:
” At a minimum will hold the BOHS P401 certificate (or RSPH equivalent)
” Will be experienced working within the Asbestos industry, ideally working for an established consultancy.
” Using PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER systems confidently.
” Excellent knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislations.
” Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

The Role:
” Working on the companies mixed portfolio of sites carrying out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys.
” Sampling of ACM’s and making sure all samples are bagged and labelled correctly.
” Using industry relevant software to produce detailed and accurate reports based on findings on site.
” Building and maintaining excellent professional relationships with clients.
” Working in line with relevant Health and Safety / HSG guidelines.
