Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £34k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor

Profile: We have a UKAS accredited client with an exciting opportunity for a BOHS qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will be covering Healthcare, Local Authority and Social Housing clients across the South Midlands / East Anglia regions and delivering Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys in line with relevant Health and Safety / HSG guidelines.

Experience & Qualifications:
” At a minimum will hold the BOHS P402 qualification or RSPH equivalent.
” Hands on experience working within an asbestos surveying position, ideally for a UKAS accredited company.
” Will be well versed in relevant Health and Safety / HSG guidelines and will have a keen eye for details.
” Competent in using PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
” Will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

The Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites carrying our management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys in line with relevant Health and Safety Legislations.
” Carrying out sampling on suspected ACMs and ensuring that all samples are being bagged and labelled correctly.
” Ensuring the asbestos register is being kept up to date, providing clients with technical support when needed.
” Use of TEAMS / TRACKER / PDA to produce detailed and site-specific reports.
” Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
