Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor

Profile: We have a continuously expanding Asbestos Consultancy with a national presence who are now looking to recruit a hardworking and competent Asbestos Surveyor based in and around the Lincoln area. The successful candidate will carry out management, refurbishment and demolition surveys across housing stock for recognised councils and housing associations, as well as some larger education and commercial sites. The client can offer long term, regional based work with company van, fuel card and personal use.

Applications will be considered from: Gainsborough, Retford, Newark-on-Trent, Boston, Grantham, Worksop, Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Nottingham, Derby, Long Eaton, Leicester.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the BOHS P402 qualification.
” Hands on experience working within the Asbestos industry as a surveyor would be beneficial to the role.
” Will have excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislations.
” Will be confident in communicating with clients, verbally and written.
” Able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
” Experience using a PDA, TEAMS/ Tracker or internal software.
The Role:
” Working across the region undertaking management and target R&D surveys on local authority sites.
” Safe sampling of ACM’s, bagging/ labelling correctly and posting to head office.
” Collecting information from site to produce detailed, site specific reports using PDA systems.
” Maintaining excellent working knowledge of HSG264 and CAR regulations.
” Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
