Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Edinburgh, Central Scotland.
Salary / Benefits £22K – £35K + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor through to Asbestos Consultant.

A reputable Environmental Consultancy, who provide extensive Asbestos Services across Commercial, Industrial, Social Housing and Healthcare sites. They are now looking to recruit an Asbestos Surveyor to join their team in the Central belt of Scotland. You will be working across predominately social housing contracts and will be responsible for carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys, alongside carrying out sampling of ACMs, ensuring to bag and label them correctly before sending for analysis. The client is open to trainees who hold the P402 and minimal site experience, who are looking to further their skills and experience.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Penicuik, Coatbridge, Glasgow, Hamilton, East Kilbride, Paisley, Kilmarnock, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Dunfermline, Kirkaldy, Stirling.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent.
” Hands on experience working for an asbestos company would be beneficial to the role.
” Excellent working knowledge of asbestos related Health and Safety guidelines.
” Proficient in using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.

The Role:
” Carrying out Management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys across social housing contracts.
” Sampling of ACMs, bagging and labelling correctly before sending for analysis.
” Undertaking re-inspection surveys upon completing work.
” Ensuring work is being carried out in line with relevant HSG guidelines.
” Producing detailed reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
” Liaising with clients when required, building professional relationships.
” Assigning in training trainee surveyors.
