Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Cardiff, South Wales
Salary / Benefits £22k – £36k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Profile: An exciting opportunity with an established UKAS accredited Asbestos Company has arisen, they are now seeking to employ a P402, P403, P404 qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst based in and around the Cardiff area. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out 4 stage clearances, Visual reinspections, Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys. This client would also consider P402 Asbestos Surveyors who are seeking to gain further Pcert modules and further development.

Applications will be considered from: Newport, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Caerphilly, Pontypridd, Barry, Bridgend, Port Talbot, Swansea, Neath, Bristol, Bath, Trowbridge, Frome, Chippenham.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Experience working within the Asbestos industry for a UKAS accredited company.
” Holding the P402, P403, P404 (or RSPH) qualifications is essential to the role.
” Excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / HSG guidelines.
” Will be confident in using industry related databases.
” Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Role:
” Management, Demolition, Refurbishment surveys on Hospital, Educational, Private and Domestic sites.
” Undertaking 4 stage clearances and visual reinspection’s.
” Carrying out Smoke, Background, Leak, Re-occupation and Personal air testing.
” Carrying out all work in line with Health and Safety / HSG guidelines.
” Producing Re-inspection certificates to clients.
” Using handheld PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed reports.
” Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
