Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst
Location: Manchester, North West.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst

Profile: This client is a well-established Asbestos consultancy, who hold the UKAS accreditation and a strong presence working on Healthcare, Educational, Private and Domestic clients. Due to gaining further contracts, they are now seeking to employ a hardworking and diligent Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around the Manchester area. The successful candidate will be working on a mixed portfolio of sites across the North West region; carrying out Management, Demolition and Refurbishment surveys alongside 4 stage clearances, Personal Air Testing and Visual re-inspections. For the right candidate, this client would also consider a P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor who is looking for further training and development.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold the P402 (minimum) or P402/3/4 (desirable)
” Have practical experience working either as an Asbestos Surveyor or Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
” Well versed in relevant Health and Safety legislations.
” Confident in using hand held PDA and will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

The Role:
” Carrying out 4 stage clearances, visual re-inspections, Smoke, Background, Leak, Re-Occupation and personal air testing on a mixed portfolio of sites.
” Management, Demolition and Refurbishment surveys.
” Completing re-inspections for clients.
” Producing detailed reports using PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with Asbestos relevant Health and Safety legislations.
” Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.
