Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary / Benefits £22k – £34k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Profile: A successful UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy are now seeking to take on a self-motivated and competent Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover regional contracts across the West Midlands area. The successful candidate will have experience working on Social Housing, Educational, Healthcare, and Industrial sites, providing the full range of Asbestos Surveying and Analytical services such as Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys, as well as, Air Monitoring duties and 4 Stage Clearances.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Extensive experience working for an established Environmental / Asbestos company.
” Will hold the P402, P403, P404 (or RSPH) Qualification.
” Knowledgeable in relevant Health and Safety Legislations.
” Experience in using handheld PDA systems.
” Will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
The Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
” Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys.
” Gathering information from site and using PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER to produce detailed reports for clients.
” Liaising with clients, continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships.
” Producing re-inspection certificates.
” Supervising contractors, ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety Legislation.
