Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £34k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Profile: A well-established Health & Safety / Environmental Consultancy with a strong presence across the Yorkshire region, are now seeking to recruit a hardworking and self-motivated Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst based in and around the Manchester area. The successful candidate will be working on Educational, Healthcare, Retail, and Commercial sites, carrying out 4 Stage clearances, Air monitoring alongside Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys.

Applications will be considered from: Oldham, Stockport, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton, Leigh, Warrington, Stockport, Bolton, Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Castleford Keighley, Halifax, Pontefract, Barnsley, Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent qualification and experience working hands on for an established Asbestos Company.
” Will have excellent knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Legislations, and a keen eye for detail.
” Able to confidently use PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
” Will have excellent communication skills.

The Role:
” Working on a mixed client base, carrying out Smoke, Background, Leak, Re-Occupation and Personal air testing.
” Undertaking 4 stage clearances and visual re-inspections.
” Management, demolition and refurbishment surveys.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety legislations.
” Using handheld PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER to produce detailed reports for clients and dealing with any queries when required.
” Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
