Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Manchester, North West
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Profile: Our client is an established Asbestos Consultancy who work on Retail, Local Authority, Industrial and Commercial sites. They are now looking to recruit a hardworking and qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover contracts across the North West / Yorkshire region. The successful candidate will hold the P402, P403, P404 qualifications and will have experience carrying out Management, Demolition and Refurbishment surveys, 4 stage clearances and all forms of air monitoring.

Applications will be considered from: Warrington, Leigh, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Stockport, Huddersfield, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Must hold the BOHS P402, P403, P404 (or RSPH) qualifications.
” Will have experience working hands on within the Asbestos industry for an established company.
” Excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Will have excellent communication and organisational skills.
” Will be confident in using PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER systems.

The Role:
” Carrying out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak, reassurance, re-occupation and personal air testing on a mixed range of sites.
” Carrying out visual inspections post work completion.
” Issuing certificates of re-occupation.
” Maintaining excellent working knowledge of HSG guidelines and CAR regulations and providing consultancy advice to clients.
” Updating registers and advising on removal/ remediation.
” Undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on housing through to more complex commercial sites.
” Gathering information from site to produce detailed, site specific reports using PDA / TEAMS / TRAKCER systems.
” Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
