Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Somerset and surrounding areas
Salary / Benefits £26k – £36k + Company Vehicle + Benefits

An industry leading UKAS accredited consultancy, with a loyal client base across the
South West, are currently recruiting for an experienced asbestos surveyor / analyst to join their team. Successful candidates will be delivering the company’s full range of asbestos management services to customers across Somerset and the M4 region. Our client can offer on-going training as part of the package and is happy to receive applications from both surveyor and analyst, as well as dual trained surveyor / analysts.

Due to the nature of the contracts candidates will be based in Somerset or the surrounding counties. Good locations include; Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, Keynsham, Yate, Bath, Burnham-on-Sea, Bridgwater, Glastonbury, Frome, Trowbridge, Warminster, Devizes, Chippenham, Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Swindon, Marlborough, Amesbury and Salisbury.

Experience:
– Combination of the BOHS P402 and / or P403 / P404 (or equivalent RSPH qualification).
– Minimum of 6 months experience on site working as a surveyor and / or analyst.
– Good working knowledge of HSG 248 & HSG 264.
– Experience working with PDA and TEAMs / TRACKER.
– Excellent reading and writing skills.
– Flexible attitude.

The role:
– Undertake Management, Refurbishment, Demolition and Reinspection surveys to Commercial & Industrial properties & sites.
– Conducting 4-stage clearances.
– Carrying out smoke, background, leak, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
– Undertaking Visual inspections of asbestos enclosures.
– Supervision of removal projects.
– Collecting site data using TEAMS / TRACKER software.
– Undertaking independent audits of contractors’ removal / remediation work.
– Liaising with clients and providing specialist consultancy advice.
