Job Description

Our client is a well-established asbestos company providing professional and quality services to clients nationwide. They currently have a vacancy for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around the Canterbury area. Applications from Faversham, Whitstable, Sandwich, Aylesham and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must possess the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Experience working in a surveying/analyst role in the asbestos industry.
Excellent communication skills.
Be well versed with asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Main Tasks:

Carrying out asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial properties.
Collating and producing accurate, comprehensive asbestos reports.
Undertake asbestos smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual 4 stage clearances and re-occupation and personal air testing on properties.
Overseeing asbestos contractors on site ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
Maintaining a professional working relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
