Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a committed and hard-working Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around the Falkirk area to join a well-regarded asbestos consultancy who provide a wide range of asbestos and environmental services throughout the UK. The ideal applicant will hold the P402/3/4 certificates with considerable experiene carrying out analytical and surveying duties. Consideration will be given to applications from Stewarton, Kilwinning, Irvine and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Will hold the P402/P403/P404 asbestos certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification. Although consideration will be given to P402 or P403/4 qualified site staff.
Experience of working in this role within the asbestos industry.
Excellent communication skills essential.
A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures/legislation.
Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Tasks:

Undertake asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.
Supervising asbestos contractors on site ensuring full compliance with asbestos health and safety procedures.
Collating and producing asbestos reports.
Building and maintaining a professional working relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
