Our client is a successful asbestos consultancy who provide a broad range of asbestos and environmental services to a large portfolio of clients. They are currently seeking a high calibre and multi-skilled Asbestos Surveyor /Analyst to join their team and are looking for someone based in and around the Harrogate area. The ideal applicant will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and will have previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst on a range of sites. The successful candidate will be managing their own clients and providing an on-going consultancy service, so need to be self-sufficient and technical minded. They will consider applications from Knaresborough, Boroughbridge, Tadcaster and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Will possess the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Have significant experience working within an asbestos surveying and air-testing/air-monitoring within the asbestos industry.
Experience with managing own workload and providing a consultancy service to clients would be advantageous
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing on various properties.
Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various sites – commercial and industrial.
Overseeing asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they comply with the Health and Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.
Collating and producing asbestos reports as and when required.
Establishing and maintaining a good working rapport with the company’s portfolio of clients.
