Job Description

Due to the acquisition of new contracts this well-established asbestos company with a nationwide presence is now looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based within the Ilford area. Applications will be considered from Romford, Barking, Stratford and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must have attained the P401/P402/P403/P404 certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification as a minimum.
Must have experience working in this role within the asbestos parameter.
Will have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Need to have extensive experience in housing surveys.

Principal Role:

Carrying out background, leak, reassurance, 4 stage clearances, re-occupation, visual and personal air testing.
Asbestos Management, Demolition/Refurbishment surveys on mainly domestic/housing properties.
Overseeing contractors working on site ensuring that they comply with Health & Safety procedures.
Collating and producing asbestos reports.
Building and maintaining a good relationship with clients on a regular basis.

Overall, the successful candidate will be flexible with a good working ethic.
