This UKAS accredited asbestos and environmental consultancy which provides a wide range of services to clients across the UK currently has an opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around the Plymouth area. Applications from Looe, Tavistock, Ivybridge and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must have the P402, P403 and P404 or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Previous experience working as a surveyor/analyst in the asbestos industry.
Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Fully conversant with the asbestos Health & Safety procedures.

Role:

Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.
Monitoring contractors on site ensuring that they carry out the work effectively and according to the relevant Health & Safety procedures.
Producing accurate and comprehensive asbestos reports.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis maintaining a good working relationship.
