Due the business expanding rapidly, this independent and well-established asbestos company with a good presence in the Southern region is actively seeking for a high calibre and multi-skilled Asbestos Surveyor/Site Analyst based in and around the Portsmouth area. Applications from Southampton, Chichester, Waterlooville and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The individual must have attained the P402/P403/P404 or the equivalent – RSPH qualifications and at the same time must have significant experience working within this role and within the asbestos parameter.

Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal and well versed with the Health & safety Procedures appertaining to asbestos.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must have good organizational skills.

Key Role Will Entail:

Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing on various properties.

Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on premises/buildings including commercial and industrial.

Supervising asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they comply with the Health and Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.

Producing comprehensive asbestos reports as and when required.

Liaising with clients on a regular basis and dealing with technical issues effectively.

The successful post holder will be an all-rounder, hardworking, flexible and have good work ethos and have the aptitude to work independently and carry out the work effectively and within time frame.

Must be flexible with regards to travelling.
