Job Description

Our client are a well-established asbestos and environmental consultancy and due to continued expansion they are looking to recruit a competent Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to work on a variety of contracts in the Central Belt of Scotland. The successful applicant will be experienced in undertaking asbestos surveys as well as analytical duties on a range of site types. Applications from Cumbermauld, Livingston, Falkirk, Hamilton and the surrounding areas would be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Must possess P402, P403, P404 asbestos certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualifications.
Previous experience in surveying and air-monitoring within the asbestos sector.
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Duties within the role:

Produce Asbestos Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys.
Carry out Asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Supervise contractors on site to ensure compliance with asbestos health & safety procedures.
Collate information to produce asbestos reports.
Build and maintain a professional working relationship with the company’s clients.
