Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant

Independent Asbestos Consultancy, who provide the full range of asbestos services to long-standing clients, are now seeking to recruit a P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join their expanding Northern team. Candidates will use their expertise to undertake technical asbestos surveys and deliver consultancy advise to clients across the Yorkshire region. Applicants will hold a minimum of the P402 qualification (ideally holding the P403/4), and will have relevant industry / site experience. In return the client can offer a competitive salary with addition overtime available, as well as, support in gaining further industry qualifications.

Experience & Qualifications:
” At a minimum will hold the P402 or RSPH equivalent.
” Experience working for an established Asbestos Company would be beneficial to the role.
” Holding the P403/4 and experience undertaking Analytical duties would be beneficial but not essential.
” Will be able to use PDA / TRACKER / TEAMS systems and will be well versed in relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Will have excellent organisational and communication skills, written and verbal.

The Role:
” Working on Healthcare, Educational and Local Authority sites, carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
” Sampling and bagging ACMs and ensuring they are labelled correctly.
” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Producing detailed reports using PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
” Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.
