Job Description

Due to expansion in workload, this asbestos consultancy that provides a wide range of asbestos and environmental services to clients is actively seeking to recruit a high calibre Asbestos Surveyor to work on various contracts in and around the Gloucestershire area. Undertaking duties such as producing asbestos reports and carrying out works on a range of sites such as industrial, commercial. Will include applications from Stroud, Cheltenham, Swindon, Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Holding the P402 or the equivalent – RSPH qualification is imperative and so is having significant experience working within this role and within the asbestos industry.

Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.

Must be familiar with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.

Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Role Will Entail:

Carrying out asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings including both commercial, industrial and other proper other properties.

Collating and writing asbestos reports as and when required.

Liaising with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients – building a good rapport.

In general, the successful candidate will be an all-rounder, versatile and flexible, have good work ethic and have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Must be flexible with regards to travelling.
