Job Description

Our client is a UKAS accredited asbestos company that provides asbestos surveying, asbestos sampling, COSHH assessments and Health & Safety and training to contracts across the UK. This company currently requires the services of a competent, multi-skilled and hardworking and reliable Asbestos Surveyor based in and around the Lincoln area. The ideal applicant will hold the P402 certificate and will come from a strong asbestos background with experience undertaking asbestos surveys on a range of site types. Consideration will be given to applications from Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Worksop, Mansfield and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must hold the P402 or the equivalent – RSPH qualifications and must also have significant experience working within this role and within the asbestos arena.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be IT literate.

Must be well versed with the Health & Safety procedures appertaining to asbestos.

Role Will Entail:

Carrying out asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties.

Collating and writing asbestos reports as and when required.

Liaising with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients on a regular basis.

Attributes:

Overall, the successful candidate will be multi-skilled, flexible, have a good and positive attitude and at the same time have the ability to work independently and as part of team.

Must be prepared to travel to sites as per client’s requirements.
