Our distinguished client is a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy known for their provision of professional asbestos services to clients throughout the UK, is actively recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Asbestos Surveyor based in the Twickenham area. The ideal candidate will be a P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor with experience carrying out asbestos surveying duties on a mixed portfolio of domestic, industrial and commercial sites. Consideration will be given to applications from SLough, Epsom, Woking, Mitcham and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications/Experience:

The applicant must have attained the P402 or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Will have significant practical experience in asbestos surveying and within the asbestos industry.
Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must possess proficient IT skills including MS Office.

Key duties within the role:

Carrying out asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings – both commercial and industrial.
Collating and producing comprehensive asbestos reports – recording site details.
Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients.
Complying to the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.
Dealing with any issues effectively and appropriately.
