Our client is a well-regarded company who provide a range of professional water treatment and HVAC services to a diverse portfolio of clients and contracts. They are now looking for an experienced, adaptable and committed Commissioning Engineer based in and around the Livepool area. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out commissioning duties such as validating and balancing air and water systems on a variety of contract types. Applications from Bootle, St Helens, Birkenhead, Wallasey and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Must have experience inspecting and balancing air and water systems
Must have experience carrying out validations on air and water systems.
Experience working in a water treatment commissioning role within the water treatment industry essential.
Previous experience working on critical ventilation systems is essential.
Proven ability to analyse schematic drawings and survey reports in order to commission system correctly.
Must have a good water treatment, chemical, technical and maintenance background.
Must be fully conversant in relevant health and safety and compliance legislation specifically HTM-0301 guidelines.
Must have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Proficient IT skills including competency in using Microsoft Office.

Duties within the Role:

Carrying out commissioning duties on air and water systems, including balancing, inspection and validations.
Calibrating equipment to accurately balance water systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company standards.
Carry out service work strictly in-keeping with client’s specifications.
Involvement in staff training as required.
Inspecting project installs when required.
Producing accurate and comprehensive reports and preparing quotations.
Undertaking some water treatment duties as required.
Maintaining a professional working rapport with the company’s clients.
