Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an established fire compliance company, who offer a range of fire protection and safety services to clients throughout the UK. The company are looking for an experienced and professional Fire Extinguisher Engineer based in and around the Hull area. The successful candidate will be experienced in undertaking maintenance, installation and servicing duties on all types of fire extinguishers and Applications from Driffield, Howden, Market Weighton, Hornsea and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Experience:

Experience undertaking maintenance, installation, servicing and inspection of all types of fire extinguisher.
Good working knowledge of health & safety legislation regarding fire protection and compliance.
Holding the NEBOSH Fire certificate or equivalent qualification will be beneficial to this role.
Hold excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.
Well versed with the Health & Safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking maintenance, installation and servicing of fire extinguishers.
Carrying out repair and replacement of faulty parts on extinguishers as required.
Working on a range of site/contract types including industrial, commercial and domestic.
Testing and maintaining dry riser systems.
Emptying/replenishing CO2 extinguishers. As required.
Liaising with clients and staff of all professional levels.

In general, the post-holder will possess a good work ethic and have a positive attitude. Must be prepared to travel extensively as per the clients requirements.
