Job Title: Health and Safety Consultant.
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £35k – £45k + Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Consultant to join our client who is a renowned and professional Health and Safety Consultancy. You will be covering the Yorkshire / Midlands region, attending Commercial, Indusial, Manufacturing, and Retail sites. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working for a reputable health and Safety consultancy and you will be able to confidently carry out health and safety risk assessments, compliance audits and providing health and safety training to staff when required. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a forward-thinking company who pride themselves on providing their employees with excellent career opportunities. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be happy to travel.
Covering the Yorkshire and Midlands region and surrounding areas: Keighley, Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield Chesterfield, Workshop, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Matlock, Stoke-On-Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Beeston, Burton-upon-Trent, Coalville, Lichfield, Tamworth, Walsall, West Bromwich, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Leicester, Market Harborough, Corby, Melton Mowbray, Loughborough.

Experience & Qualifications:
” At a minimum will hold the NEBOSH general / Fire certificate.
” Will ideally hold IOSH / IFE membership.
” Will have a proven track record working within a Health and Safety role, working for an established consultancy.
” Experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessment would be beneficial to the role.
” Exceptional knowledge of current Health & Safety legislations, policies, and procedures.
” Able to communicate efficiently.
” Able to manage time efficiently, splitting time between attending site and writing reports.
” IT literate.

The Role:
” Carrying out health and safety risk assessments.
” Attending site and carrying out inspections in line with client requirements.
” Carrying out health and safety and compliance audits.
” Attending site and carrying out staff audits.
” Providing high standard health and safety training to staff in line with company needs.
” Producing detailed technical reports for clients.
” Getting involved in the formulation of risk assessments and method statements.
” Conducting fire risk assessments.
” Efficiently preparing internal policies.
” Carrying out accident investigations.
” Conducting specialist surveys.
” Efficiently liaising with clients, ensuring to maintain excellent professional relationships.
