Job Title: Health & Safety Consultant
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £30k – £45k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Health & Safety Consultant through to Lead Health & Safety Consultant

Profile: A independent Health and Safety Consultancy, with a reputation for providing bespoke Health and Safety consultancy services to private clients across the North of England. Our client is recruiting for a hardworking and self-motivated Health & Safety Consultant to cover contracts across the Yorkshire region. The successful candidate will come from a strong Health and Safety Consultancy background and will be working on a mixed portfolio of sites; carry out H&S audits, providing training courses to external clients and liaising with the company’s client base to provide excellent technical advice and support.

Applications will be considered from: Leeds, Wakefield, Castleford, Keighley, Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield, Chesterfield.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Hold a minimum of the NEBOSH general certificate.
” Preferable hold the Grad IOSH / CMIOSH status.
” Experience working for an established Health and Safety Company, ideally within a client facing consultancy setting.
” Able demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of H&S audits.
” Will have a keen eye for detail and will have excellent communication skills.
” Excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Guidelines.

The Role:
Providing Health & Safety Services such as:
” Carrying out Health & Safety Risk Assessments on a mixed portfolio of sites.
” Carrying out Fire Risk Assessments (Type 1/3).
” Auditing of staff on sites and dealing with all aspects of Health and Safety.
” Producing comprehensive reports based on audits and inspections and providing clients with excellent technical advice and support.
” Managing and developing the company’s client base and providing clients with excellent technical consultancy advice.
” Delivering Safety Training courses when required.
