Job Title: Health & Safety Consultant / Fire Risk Assessor
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £30k – £45k + Training + Benefits

Independent Yorkshire based Health and Safety / Environmental Consultancy are now looking to recruit a Health & Safety Consultant / Fire Risk Assessor to join their busy and longstanding team. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a rapidly expanding company. You will be providing Health and Safety / Fire Risk consultancy advice and services e.g. audits, risk assessments, and investigations to clients across Commercial, Industrial, Manufacturing, and Retail sites. Due to the nature of the role and the contracts, the successful candidate must be happy to travel in line with company and client needs.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Leeds, Wakefield, Keighley, Barnsley, Halifax, Batley, Huddersfield, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Worksop, Matlock, Alfreton, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Beeston, Nottingham, Coalville, Tamworth, Lichfield, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Market Harborough, Corby, West Bromwich, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick, Ludlow, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold industry recognised qualification e.g., NEBOSH general / NEBOSH fire or recognised fire risk assessing qualification.
” Will have strong background working in a Health and Safety / Fire position for an established consultancy.
” Holding the GradIOSH / TechIOHS or CMIOSH would be beneficial to the role.
” Fully versed in relevant Health and Safety guidelines, able to demonstrate practical knowledge efficiently.
” Excellent communication skills.
” Good IT skills.
” Able to work well in a busy environment, adapting in line with company / client needs.
The Role:
” Covering a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out Health and Safety / Risk Assessment audits.
” Working in line with client requirements, carrying out fire risk assessments.
” Carrying out work in line with safe working practices.
” Upon completion of Health and Safety / Fire Risk Assessment, producing detailed reports for clients.
” Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice and support based on site findings.
” Undertaking investigations on site when required.
” Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety legislations.
