Job Title: Lead Water Treatment Engineer
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Engineer through to Lead Water Treatment Engineer

Profile: A busy and successful Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company who provide the full range of Water Treatment / Water Hygiene services to a mixed portfolio of sites. The client are now seeking to recruit a hardworking and diligent Lead Water Treatment Engineer to cover contracts across the South East / M25 region. The ideal candidate will hold previous / current experience working within the Water Treatment industry, acting as the lead on Cleans and Disinfections works and carrying out Cooling Tower, Chemical Dosing, TMV Servicing.

Applications will be considered from candidates with close proximity to the M25, including but not limited to: Basildon, Brentwood, Gravesend, Romford, Ilford, Rainham, Dagenham, Enfield, Cheshunt, Harlow, Hertford, Enfield, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, Harrow, Slough, Windsor.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Extensive hands-on experience working within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene industry.
” Excellent knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
” Will ideally have a strong technical knowledge of Steam Boilers, Cooling towers and Closed Systems.
” Able to communicate efficiently, written and verbal.
” Proficient in using PDA / Tablet systems.

Role:
” Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out routine inspections, sampling, temperature monitoring and analysis of water systems.
” Cleaning and disinfections of CWST’s.
” Chemical tank cleans Steam Boilers and Cooling towers.
” Overseeing a team of engineers, scheduling in work and ensuring the right equipment is available.
” Servicing and disinfections of mains water systems.
” Carrying out training of site staff when required.
” Generating prices, quotations and plans for clients.
” Gathering information from site and creating detailed reports for clients.
