Job Description

Our client is a notable water management company who provide water treatment, water hygiene and legionella advice and services to a mixed portfolio of clients. They are now hiring for an experienced, knowledgeable and committed Legionella Compliance Management based in and around the Birmingham area. The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of legionella guidelines with experience in developing and managing ISO accreditations to ensure company compliance with health and safety policies. Coming from a technical legionella risk assessment background would be beneficial to this role. Applications from Telford, Worcester, Coventry, Tamworth and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications and Experience

Must come from a strong legionella, water treatment, water hygiene, chemical background.
Thorough understanding of ACOP L8 guidelines and HSG274 systems.
Experience working a managerial/team leader role.
Experience delivering and implementing new and existing policies.
Proven track record of developing and managing ISO accreditation.
Experience in under-taking internal audits.
Knowledge of health and safety policies and compliance.

Duties within the role:

Manage and maintain all current and future accreditations and memberships.
Ensure all operational aspects are in compliance with internal and external policies.
Manage the induction of new team members and monitor progression of CPD plans.
Develop and deliver internal training as necessary.
Liaise with colleagues and clients of all professional levels.
Manage and schedule workload to ensure objectives are met.
Continually create, improve and define process methods to assist with the growth of the business.
Manage and maintain QMS, EMS and ensure the focus on client satisfaction.
Schedule and complete all internal audits.
Implement and review health and safety policies and compliance (such as weekly fire alarm tests, annual ladder inspections).
Ensure routine checks and inspections and calibrations are completed.

Overall, the successful postholder will demonstrate their expertise and knowledge working in a similar role within the legionella sector and will endeavour to be a valuable addition to an established team.
